Since the start of PSL in 2016, Peshawar Zalmi has been known for its fighting spirit consistency, & teamwork. The team has launched its song in 2026 & the logo represents the traditional Peshawari Turban.
The team was made in late 2015 & the primary team colors are yellow & black. The franchise is owned by Javed Afridi, who is also the founder of Haier Pakistan which is the Pakistan’s most trusted company. Under his supersvision, the team has built strong reputation , not only in cricket but also in youth development and social work as well because the world Zalmi means youth in Pashto language.
Peshawar Zalmi won its first PSL match in 2017 that year turned out to be lucky. That season, they performed very well and defeated Quetta Gladiators in the final but Quetta Gladiator alo tried their level best in order to win the match. Since then, Zalmi has remained one of the most winning teams, they often reach finals.
